Located at the south end of Kingsland Road in Shoreditch, Basing House is an intimate, 300-capacity venue that opened in 2010. Basing House operates a late license, opening each Friday and Saturday – with occasional Thursday events. A large volume of external promoters and labels curate the venue’s music programme. Basing House’s sound is supplied by audio behemoths, Funktion-One. Set up In a 4-point configuration gives sonically perfect stereo audio. It also features a roof terrace, which doubles as its smoking area. Friday and Saturday play host to house, disco, garage with the occasional drum and bass event for good measure.
